JSOU-ICVE is launching Pre-University Certificate (10th and 12th)
Jharkhand State Open University (JSOU) held a press conference on June 12 in Ranchi regarding the launch of Pre-University Certificate. The press conference was addressed by JSOU Vice Chancellor Prof. TN Sahu, Founder of International Council for Virtual Education Dr. Shabab Alam. In the press conference, the university talked about (newly launched course subjects) Pre-University Certificate i.e. Pre-University Certificate Course (based on 10th / 12th / other traditional and skill plan). In which the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. TN Sahu said that the university is dedicated to distance education. Founder of International Council for Virtual Education, Dr. Shabab Alam said that the International Council for Virtual Education is promoting distance education and online education system not only in the country but also in many other countries.
After the crisis period of Corona, ICVE is working in a special way to connect the whole country and the world with the mainstream of education. Along with this, special attention is being given to the candidates deprived of education, especially SC / ST / OBC / tribal community, so that the virtual education system can be strengthened in developing countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc. JSOU Registrar Prof GK Singh, Finance Officer Dr Arun Mandal, Coordinator Dr Prem Sagar Keshari, Mr Vikas Maurya, Dr Manoj Agariya, ICVE Country Head L Muthuvelraj Rajasekar, Vice President Ajay Sahu, General Secretary Acharya Mahendra Pareek and Secretary Navneet Tyagi etc. were present in the press conference. JSOU is a university established by the Government of Jharkhand, which was started in 2021. Jharkhand State Open University is the only University in the state dedicated to distance education, which is conducting new professional courses. So that by encouraging the education level and the skills inherent in the youth in the state, positive initiatives can be taken to promote employment / self-employment and vocational education system in the state with simplicity and ease. The eligibility for admission in Pre-University Certificate Course should be 10th pass or 16 years of age while for 10th the age is 14 years. Because the said course is based on virtual education system. All those eligible for admission are eligible who are working in any government or non-government organization for advancement / promotion.
School students are also eligible for admission in the said course, who gave examinations in any other board this year and failed, in this way students will get an opportunity to save their year.
Under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, any student of the country is free to take admission in any state of the country. Therefore, students of all the states of the country and neighboring states can also take advantage of the virtual education system, but the university will remain bound and work within its area of work.
Examinations: The university will conduct its examinations on CALENDAR SESSION / ACADEMIC SESSION / ON DEMAND SESSION on the lines of NIOS Board.
